Anxiety Therapy

Help for Anxiety, Stress, and Panic

Do you often feel anxious and you're not sure why? Or you do know why and it's somewhat irrational, but you can't help it?

It's awful. Maybe you judge yourself, "I should be happy," or "My life is good - I'm not sure why I'm feeling this way." It's confusing, frustrating, and disappointing. Luckily, therapy can be really helpful will this sense of anxiety, stress, and dread. Healing comes from awareness, understanding of your past, learning how to express yourself, learning calming and self-soothing techniques, and through the actual connection with a therapist.

Anxiety is an over-stimulation of the fight or flight response by the nervous system, and the physical symptoms are associated with the emotion of fear. Sometimes the cause of the anxiety is known, but often it is unconscious, related to misconceptions, or past experiences and feeling states.

Phobias (specific fears about spiders or flying, for example), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and panic attacks are also forms of anxiety disorders, that can also be worked through in therapy.
